Executive Committee

There should be no more than 2 members from any one club in order to fairly represent the members. Any changes to required duties to be actioned next time a new person is appointed.

Secretary:

  • Organising and taking minutes at meetings and producing Agendas and accurate minutes for subsequent meetings.
  • Being the central administrator and organiser and managing all communication.
  • Ensuring rule compliance.
  • Updating website with any relevant changes brought about at the AGM.
  • Produce all documentation, posters etc and attach to website ready for download.
  • Create / Maintain Facebook and Watts App groups with current members.
  • Responsible for maintaining website and keeping all areas up to date.
  • Managing the registration of Teams, Players and generated fixtures onto website each year.
  • Produce player handicaps twice yearly.
  • Checking and updating weekly scorecard received onto website.
  • Together with the Chairman being the first point of contact for members.
  • Gathering prizes and creating raffle tickets. Keeping a record of sales / receipts.
  • Organising presentation evening.
  • Organise competitions.
  • Email newspapers with league tables and competition winners.
  • Be informed of any postponed matches and work with the committee to address rule infringements or disputes, such as teams failing to fulfil a fixture.
  • To affiliate with any other snooker bodies as required.

Chairman:

  • The Chairman is the figure head and spokesperson for the CSL who shall sit as the head and call to order AGMs, EGMs and any other Committee Meetings.
  • Together with the Secretary being the first point of contact for members.
  • To assist the Secretary dealing with all the day to day issues.

Fixture Secretary (Fixtures and Competitions Secretary):

  • To ensure generated fixtures are correct.
    To do the Cup draws at league meetings.
  • To assist the Secretary with Competition duties, organising events, creating posters etc and uploading results on website. (Gwilym assisting at present)

Treasurer:

  • To be responsible for collecting all registration fees and any sponsorship funds.
  • To keep an accurate account of all monies received and spent and present a balance sheet at the AGM.

Vice Chairman:

  • To Chair meetings in the Chairmans absence and assist chairman with their duties as required.

President:

  • To be a voice and a vote on the Executive committee.
